A Few Things Your Trainer Should Tell You but May Have Skipped.
Be on time. It is a waste of money to be late to a session you've already invested in. Running late? Text that thing out. Don't arrive in the following states: empty stomach, coming off a cold, or on four hours’ sleep. It wastes both of our time when your body isn't fueled, hydrated and ready to work. So we tried to accomodate the requests for evening group sessions, testing both Thursday and Saturday; perhaps I didn't test long enough for them to work, but personal training is a priority in the evenings. The added session that worked was this past Saturday at 8am -- PHENOMENAL
bn-fit thoughts on smith machines.
Just wanna weigh in on a question I get from clients on why our routines don't include Smith Machines, which are very popular and can be found in most gyms. In my opinion there are more cons than pros to using this machine. We're hitting this quick. PRO's: the Smith Machine is less intimidating then free weights, as you don't have to stabilize weight during the up/down motion. if you reach failure unexpectedly and can’t push anymore, you can turn your wrists and lock it in its place. you don’t have the danger of pushing
